Short intro

Bandolier is the fifth album by Welsh rock band Budgie, released in September 1975 through MCA Records. It reached 36 in the UK. The album was released in the US on A&M Records in late 1975. The cover art was created by artist Patrick Woodroffe. The song I Can't See My Feelings was covered by Iron Maiden on the B-side of their 1992 single From Here to Eternity. But 1975's Bandolier found the band pursuing a more conventional rock sound with a noticeable funk influence. This is most apparent on the guitar-scratching I Can't See My Feelings and the finger-snapping Who Do You Want for Your Love, featuring a slow groove topped with vocalist Burke Shelley's soulful wailing. While the riff-heavy Breaking All the House Rules and the amusing Napoleon Bona Part 1 & 2 hark back to the band's early days, change was on the horizon. Welcome to the Zoom Club A Tribute to Budgie - Bandolier Kings. Лента с персональными рекомендациями и музыкальными новинками, радио, подборки на любой вкус, удобное управление своей коллекцией. Type: Full-length. Recorded at Rockfield Studios, Monmouth, and Mayfair Sound, London. Produced by Budgie. Added by: Unknown user. Modified by: Krister Jensen. Anyway, Bandolier is a standard Budgie album only the songs are a bit longer, and the term standard in this sense means unadulterated as-kicking. I Cant See My Feelings is such a tremendously riff-tacular song that no other than Iron f cking Maiden decided to cover it for a b-side to the single From Here to Eternity, and even if Stevie Harris and Adrian and Bruce and Eddie wont admit it Budgies song is way better and should have been side-a. Its an honor to have your riffs played by Adrian and Dave and to be on the same album cover as Eddie. For a British ok Welsh, but who cares. Songs in album Budgie - Bandolier 1975. Budgie - Breaking All The House Rules. Budgie - Slipaway. Budgie - Who Do You Want For Your Love-. Budgie - I Can't See My Feelings. Budgie - I Ain't No Mountain. Budgie - Napoleon Bona Part One & Two. Budgie - Honey B-Side Bonus Track. Budgie - Breaking All The House Rules Live 1980 Bonus Track. Though every Budgie album is great, this album is, in my opinion, the best Budgie album ever, hands down. Every song is really good, but Napoleon Bona-Part One and Two is the definite standout. It's also my favorite Budgie song of all time. It showcases the ultimate, best style of songs that are my favorite kind of Budgie songs and appear on every album. The first five Budgie albums arrived together. I began from Budgie and played through to Bandolier non-stop. I now realize how much I missed these treasures of wonderful rock music. Band Name Budgie.
