Short intro

Pinch - Punisher. 10 Tons Heavy. Язык: Русский. Страна: США. Punisher is the second studio album by American singer-songwriter Phoebe Bridgers, released on June 18, 2020 by Dead Oceans. Bridgers first established herself with her 2017 debut, Stranger in the Alps, a widely acclaimed emo-folk effort. In the years preceding her sophomore album, the California native formed the bands boygenius and Better Oblivion Community Center, respectively. On Punisher, Bridgers' songwriting is somber and sardonic deeply personal in nature, it explores topics like dissociation. From Whilom Bass Vault, this treasure from 2006 as been published to the channel - Rob Ellis, better known as Pinch, is a dubstep artist from the video for Punisher from Pinch's Science Faction: Dubstep for free, and see the artwork, lyrics and similar artists. Pinch is Rob Ellis, a dubstep and techno artist from Bristol, United Kingdom. He is noted for his fusion of styles such as reggae, world music, and dancehall with dubstep. Etichetta: Planet Mu ZIQ163. While Pinch has played a huge part in developing the dubstep scene in Bristol, his releases have been quite hit or miss for me thus far. This one unfortunately ends up in the latter category. Although not completely without potential, Punisher ultimately ends up as a far too simplistic effort. The Punisher: The Album is the official soundtrack for the film The Punisher and was released in 2004 by Wind-up Records. Its two lead singles were Broken by Seether and Evanescence frontwoman Amy Lee and Step Up by Drowning Pool, which have accompanying music videos. The song So Far Away by Staind was featured in the trailer for The Punisher, but was not released on the soundtrack or featured in the movie

Worth it for the VIP IMO. Spaced out but rolling vibes on that one. A side is a little meh.

The punisher tune was indeed 'the' sound of dubstep around that time. Simple, but very effective. On a big soundsystem this is a bloody heavy tune, make no mistake

Do not listen to this guy. Punisher is a simple track but deadly with its spooky pads and background sounds. It does have an average wobble which is no rubber chicken, but works well with the 6/8 timing. Classic sample with a good 48 build up, before a 4 bar interlude bringing silence before the big drop. The beat is a simple shuffle, maybe with a lack of reverb on the clap as it could have, but all round this is kept minimal. A true classic, only for the dirtiest of raves in the darkest of venues!

Although not completely without potential, "Punisher" ultimately ends up as a far too simplistic effort. The bassline is an average wobbler that fails to make much of an impact, and the looped ragga vocal sample was already implemented far more efficiently by Ed Rush on "Bludclot Artattack" about 13 years ago.
