Rare Earth released a string of albums in the early 1970s beginning with the No. 15 Ecology in 1970, One World in 1971, Willie Remembers in 1972, and Ma in 1973. It was the bands singles however that generated the most success for Rare Earth, with the group releasing a second Temptations cover I Know Im Losing You , Born to Wander , and I Just Want to Celebrate. Returning in 1977 the group released their self-titled, fifth album, followed by a pair of albums Band Together and Grand Slam in 1978. Rare Earth is awesome blues rock band that has been around since the 60s. I have loved them for a long time but I never got to see them perform live until recently. I Just Want To Celebrate Stereo Promo Version. Rare Earth is an American soul band affiliated with Motown's Rare Earth record label. Although not the first white band signed to Motown, Rare Earth was the first big hit-making act signed by Motown that consisted only of white members. None of the previously signed all-white acts, The Rustix, The Dalton Boys, or The Underdogs, had any hits. The group formed in 1960 as The Sunliners and changed its name to Rare Earth in 1968. The band felt the name Rare Earth was more in keeping with the names. Rare Earth - What You Gonna Do If I Give It To You 03:04, 320Kbs. Rare Earth - Be What R Ya 03:45, 320Kbs.
